  Very disappointing. While visiting Devonport, thought we would try this restaurant as it was close to our accommodation. Phone ordered 3 dishes; dahl, bombay aloo and chicken jalfrezi, with naan, rice and raita. The naan and dahl was ok, except for the yoghurt they poured over the dahl. They gave us beef and potatoes instead of bombay aloo and both that dish and the chicken were virtually inedible. The raita was watery and tasteless. A huge disappointment.

  Food was delicious and staff was kind. The decor is interesting and adds to a great atmosphere. Very clean. I normally suffer with spicy food while my partner loves it and we both left more than satified.

  It was an ok experience but not great. I am one of those people who thinks that rice should come with the curry is you are paying $20 for it rather than having to pay for each thing separately. The lassi tasted very artificial but the butter chicken and lamb Korma sauce were good. Overall average.
