    I went to HMC for breakfast today and was extremely impressed with the size of my meal and better yet the quality..

    However the Chef was prepared to modify a steak sandwich for me. To be honest it was one of the best I have tasted. If you are interested, it was steak, tomato, lettuce, relish, mushroom and sweet peppers. Nice balance of flavours with no one component dominating the taste experience.

    My husband and I went for brunch on Saturday morning; after a recommendation from a local. We had friendly, fast service despite it being busy. We had the Harbourmaster brekky and couldn't eat it all. Good coffee too. Highly recommended, and would be a regular if we were local.

    This restaurant is very egg and bacon oriented. I have a distinct dislike for these food ingredients. So I was left with nothing to my liking.

    So if you visit the Harbour Masters in Devonport, and nothing screams out "eat me", have chat with the helpful staff and they will do their best to assist.
